Default 1.5k, 15k hydromancers wuts the dif?

ok well i know that the dif betwen the 1.5k and the 15k sets is looks well judging by the pics on guildwiki.net, the only dif i can notice in the looks is the gloves, is thats all that separates teh looks of the two besides prices or are the pics wrong?

No, basically the 15k is 'White' and 1.5 is 'Black' if you will. I think either look very nice dyed, but I prefer the 15k over the 1.5 visually.

Yeah, the 15k version is "brighter" than the 1.5k one.

Aesthetic differences.

Basically the 15k is skimpier than the 1.5k.

Male or female tho Lightning?

I think the Male 15k Hydro is more "broad" then the male 1.5k Hydro. Part of the reason I like it the most because in my opinion it's the most "robe-like" attire for an Elementalist.

I have the 15k for my female ele, which at the time was the best looking set IMO. Maybe I'll get the pre-sear look now that it's available. Nothing like huge fire power packed in a tight outfit. Reminds me of cat woman :P
